An exceptional Baccarat crystal decanter (toilet bottle) in Bambou Tors pattern, crafted in luminous orange and red crystal. The red hue is achieved through the incorporation of gold during the crystal-making process, a sophisticated technique historically employed by Baccarat to create its most vibrant and luxurious colours. This model is documented in the Baccarat 1903-1904 catalogue and was produced prior to 1936, explaining the absence of a signature, as Baccarat did not systematically mark its crystal pieces before that period. The piece remains in excellent antique condition, displaying only minor traces of age consistent with more than a century of history, including light limescale residue inside the bottle and a few small nibbles to the stopper. A remarkable example of early 20th-century French crystal craftsmanship, highly desirable for collectors of Baccarat, Art Nouveau decorative arts, and rare coloured crystal.
