Alessi - "Acta" PVD-belegg, nikkel-fritt stål (M) - Ring

An Award-Winning Fusion of Ancestral Art and Modern Italian Design. Bring a piece of contemporary wearable art into your collection with the ACTA Ring, designed by the award-winning designer Elena Salmistraro for the prestigious Italian design house Alessi. The ACTA ring is a prominent piece from the highly acclaimed Venusia collection, which won the prestigious Best Design Award in Italy (2022). The Design Concept: Derived from Venus, the goddess of beauty, the Venusia project explores the ancient, almost magical bond between human beings and bodily ornamentation. Elena Salmistraro masterfully balances the sacred and the profane, primitive references, and industrial modernity. The ACTA ring offers a wholly original, double-circular interpretation of the archetypal circle. It features a stunning succession of dots that reinterprets Etruscan granulation, one of the oldest and most fascinating goldsmith techniques, in a sophisticated industrial key. This refined process creates a rich interaction with light, turning the ring into a luminous, expressive statement piece. Condition: Brand new in original packaging Size: Internal diameter: 15 mm About Elena Salmistraro: An artist and designer, she opened her studio in Milan in 2009 with Angelo Stoli, embarking on numerous collaborations with companies in the creative industry. Attention to detail, harmony of form and poetic style characterise her projects, which seek to delve into the expressive language of objects. Her designs have been exhibited in various international exhibitions. In 2017 she received the "Salone del Mobile Milano Award" as "Best new designer" and was appointed Ambassador of Italian design in the world. In 2018 she was appointed Ambassador of the Brera Design District.
