Selling a pair of very nice and rare Kaiser Idell, model 6722 lamps, this is a pair of lamps that rarely come up for sale. The lamps are in very good order, in the beautiful and classic black high gloss color, without any damage or dents ( see pictures ). The compact shape of the "Baby Dell" lamp has a distinctive domed shade, a hallmark of the Kaiser Idell series, with clean lines and smooth curves that highlight its modernist roots. The chrome-plated steel arm complements the black lacquered shade and base, creating a striking visual contrast. With the adjustable head, it provides a versatile lighting, making it not only a stylish but also a highly functional piece of furniture, perfect for wall mounting, placed on a desk, nightstands or accent lighting in any room. Both lamps have received new contemporary twisted fabric cables, with new grounded sockets. They are equipped with E-27 bulb-sockets ( sold without bulbs ). These examples are manufactured by Republic of Fritz Hansen, with the makers label inside the shades, making them a unique collector's item. Kaiser Idell series, and especially the 6722-model, is known for its craftsmanship and attention to detail, and remains a highly sought-after piece of furniture for collectors and design enthusiasts. Its timeless design and historical significance make the “Baby Dell” a perfect blend of form and function, adding a touch of mid-century elegance to any interior. Fritz Hansen produced this lamp version (also known as "Baby Dell") in a limited edition after they took over the rights to the brand in 2010. Today, this lamp has been discontinued and replaced by a pendant version, making this model very difficult to obtain. Since this is a Fritz Hansen production, it has a fantastic quality in both lacquer and chrome details. They have a modern electrical system that is safe to use, unlike many older vintage models.
