Dear Bidders, I'm offering here a set of 3 sculptural ikebana vases designed and handmade by Danish ceramic artist Aage Würtz for the Würtz Keramik studio in Horsens, Denmark. These organic stoneware pieces showcase Würtz’s characteristic raw Nordic aesthetic, inspired by Japanese ceramics and wabi-sabi philosophy. The perforated, crater-like surfaces and expressive glazes create a strong sculptural presence while remaining functional as ikebana flower vases or standalone ceramic art objects. Produced circa 2000s–2010s in Denmark, each vase is entirely handcrafted and unique. Aage Würtz is internationally recognised for his refined Scandinavian studio pottery and for the ceramic tableware created together with K.H. Würtz for renowned restaurants including Noma. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
