Vase (2) - Marmor, Messing, zamak - Par vaser på rød marmor
A very decorative and characterful pair of 19th-century ornamental vases (garniture) in the classic Louis XVI style. These monumental vases are crafted from patinated zamak (regule) with fine gilded accents, beautifully highlighting the refined details.
The vases are richly decorated with garlands of roses, tied ribbons, and a central medallion featuring an elegant lady's bust in profile, surrounded by classical musical instruments such as a lyre and trombone. The body rests on a turned foot placed on a stepped, square plinth of luxurious red marble (Rouge Belge). The ensemble stands on gracefully chased, gilded Baroque legs.
Material: Patinated and gilded zamak / regule, mounted on precious red marble plinths.
Height: Approx. 41 cm (an impressive size with great visual impact).
Width:14 cm
Base: 13 cm x 13,5 cm
Style: Louis XVI style (Neoclassicism), 19th century.
