The Technics SA-5360 is a classic vintage AM/FM stereo receiver, manufactured by the Japanese company Matsushita (Panasonic) between 1976 and 1977. It is a popular model among vintage audio enthusiasts, thanks to its quintessential 1970s design—featuring a thick aluminum front panel, analog meters, and a atmospherically illuminated tuning scale.
Key Specifications
• Power Output: 38 watts per channel into 8Ω or 2x 50W @ 4 Ohms (stereo).
This is more than sufficient to drive most (bookshelf) speakers with authority.
• Frequency Response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
• Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.3%.
• Damping Factor: 40.
• Connections:
• Phono Input (MM): For direct connection of a turntable.
• Aux Input: For external sources such as a CD player, smartphone, or Bluetooth receiver.
• Tape In/Out: For a cassette deck or reel-to-reel tape recorder.
• Features: Equipped with controls for Bass, Treble, and Loudness, a High Filter, and a selector switch for toggling between two pairs of speakers (Main/Remote).
• Dimensions: 420 x 142 x 355 mm.
• Weight: 9 kg.
