Beautiful and Excellent condition Eddy Merckx road bike. Corsa Extra, custom 1987/88 - bottom bracket and decal markings indicate Columbus TSX tubing, which was routinely or officially only used from the following years, perhaps indicating this is a custom or prototype build. Used infrequently for a single road race for a number of years and then it's been in storage for at least the past nine years. Beautiful pearlescant blue lacquer with red detailing, very rigid tube set. Frame has one handpainted 'Mont Ventoux' marking, as the previous (and I believe only other) owner used it for that race only, and I haven't ridden it. I think it's a 56cm frame.
