They focus on staged photography, accentuating eroticism, rejecting external reality and making internal reality visible, they are ironic towards the world and towards themselves and are influenced by surrealism, dadaism and poeticism. Martin Štrba (*1961) is a significant multi-genre figure in contemporary European film. And although the public is perhaps better known for his work as a cinematographer in film and his creative film collaboration with Polish director Agniezska Holland, his photographic work is also exceptional.
