Polen - Flagg - Historic flag: Solidarity
The original flag used during the workers' protests of 1980 and 1981, which ultimately led to the fall of communism in Eastern Europe.
The "Solidarity" inscription on the flag represents the Polish Independent Self-Governing Trade Union (NSZZ "Solidarność"), founded on September 17, 1980, as a result of the strikes at the Gdańsk Shipyard, led by Lech Wałęsa. The sign symbolically depicts people marching with a red and white banner and alludes to the workers' handwritten inscriptions and slogans from 1980, which expressed solidarity and offered encouragement.
The flag measures 160cm x 100cm, is made of cotton, and shows visible signs of wear, confirming its authenticity and adding to its industrial character.
Shipping: The flag will be shipped without the wooden pole, carefully packaged, with insurance and tracking.
