Lysestake (2) - spelter, bronsje, krommet metall
A striking and authentic pair of French Art Deco candelabra (two-light), dating from the interwar period, circa 1920s–1930s. These pieces embody the characteristic symmetry and geometric flair of the Art Deco movement.
The candelabra feature a tall, rectangular columnar base rising from a stepped square foot. The body is finished in spelter and bronze, providing a stark contrast to the chrome-plated accents.
Each piece is designed with two sweeping semi-circular arms, holding the candleholders. These arms are accented with decorative silver-toned spherical and teardrop-shaped pins, a distinct feature of the period. The central column is crowned with a polished, reflective silver-toned sphere, completing the elegant, modernist design.
Good condition – Used, with small signs of aging and blemishes consistent with their age and use. The metal shows a pleasant, historical patina. All elements are intact and structurally sound. Please take a look at all pictures, they are part of the description.
