石隠 姜聖奎 - Skål - Keramikk - knekke-glassert skål

Description: This is a beautifully textured crackle-glazed ceramic bowl, featuring a soft, earthy palette and a highly tactile surface. The glaze ranges from warm beige to pale cream, with fine crazing lines spread across the entire body. These delicate crackles give the piece an aged, natural character reminiscent of antique Japanese wares. The surface transitions from subtle peach tones near the rim to denser, speckled areas toward the lower half of the bowl. The lower body and foot show a thicker, almost frosted texture, where tiny glaze bubbles and crystallization have formed a unique, uneven pattern—adding depth and visual interest. The foot ring is also covered in crackle glaze, but the clay beneath remains partly visible, highlighting the bowl’s handmade origins. The form is simple and well-balanced: a gently flaring rim, rounded body, and stable foot. When viewed from the base, the crackle pattern becomes even more dramatic, with larger networks of lines creating a web-like surface. It embodies rustic beauty and organic imperfection, celebrating the natural effects of high-temperature firing and reacting glazes. It would work well as a tea bowl, display piece, or part of a wabi-sabi–inspired interior. NOTICE

The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by Japan Post depends on the situation.
It takes about 3~4 weeks to receive normally.Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
