In Assyrian culture, Pazuzu was the king of the demons and had the body of man and the head of a lion or a dog. Pazuzu was invoked in an amulet, which combats the powers of his rival, and against the goddess Lamashtu who harmed mother and her child during childbirth. This pazuzu amulet belonged to a man who has a large collection of pazuzu and he collected them many years ago.
