Limited edition of 525 sets of the complete works of Beaumarchais, this being number 37 printed on laid paper. Comes with engraved head- and tailpieces throughout. Rubbing, bumping, and wear to the boards and spines, and tanning to the spines. The surface of the marbled boards is worn off a bit on volumes II-IV and a lot on the back board of Vol I. Pencil markings, and a small, printed name in the front free endpapers in Vol I. The text is clear, the paper is crisp, and the binding is solid. Overall, a nice set in very good condition.
