Up for auction is a nice 1943 copy of the United States Army Pocket Guides ´´Egypt´´ as ssued to US soldiers that were participating in Operation Torch. prior to invasion of Italy/Europe. The booklet covers many useful phrases, words and sentences accompanied by humoristic sketches. These booklets were issued to troops based there and that participated in the invasion, facilitating collaboration between soldiers/nationals, etc, and to understand their culture and their country. Definitely used in the field, nice original example. Nice official and rare!! set of USA Army Language Guides that will be great items for your WW2 collection!
