Magnificent large porcelain sculpture group of a “Rider with Hunting Horn” on a Rearing Horse, Scheibe - Alsbach rare creation, in excellent condition. The sculpture depicts a superb hunting scene with an young noble cavalier on his white horse, wearing a hunting rifle on one shoulder and a hunting horn on the other, riding a white horse, altogether on an oval gilded base with relief flowers. Marvelous hand painted in vivid colors including turquoise and grass green, gilded ornaments and delicate details, this is a sensational piece for any collector. Among the supervising of Professor Möller, artists like Felix Zeh or Schrober were the most prolific manufactory’s modelers specialized in figures and historical scenes in Scheibe - Alsbach manufacture.
