Opis od sprzedawcy
Joseph BEUYS (1921-1986)
Chromolithography (sheet no. 18), belonging to the artist's book "Zeichnungen zu Madrid Codex von Leonardo da Vinci" ("Zeszyt rysunków do madryckich kodeksów Leonarda da Vinci").
One of the best drawings of the "Codices" series.
Publisher: Manus Presse, Stuttgart, 1975.
Size: 23 x 15,7 cm.
900 copies published.
Referenced: Schellmann 184.
The original book, in the format of a sketchbook designed by the artist, represents a hermeneutic by Beuys on Leonardo's "codices" discovered in Madrid in 1965. Interesting, like everything in Beuys, for its energetic line and transcendent pulse: a delight for the observer who recognizes the virtues of the Dusseldorf genius.
In perfect state.
Special 3D mounting. Frame size (with glass): 31,5 x 22,5 cm.
