“Blue Canyon” explores the tension between solid form and open space. Deep, saturated blue shapes create a monumental, almost landscape-like structure, contrasted by a vivid orange accent.

The composition is painted on raw cotton canvas, allowing the natural texture of the material to remain visible and become part of the work. This gives the piece a tactile, grounded quality.

Minimal yet bold, the painting balances calmness with intensity — like a quiet, abstract canyon suspended in color and space. It works especially well in contemporary interiors, adding depth and a strong visual presence.


Joachim Demiurg is a visual artist and painter whose work focuses on color, structure, and dynamic form.

He graduated from an art high school with a specialization in artistic textiles, which shaped his sensitivity to texture and material. He then studied graphic design at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Kraków.

He has also gained experience abroad, creating painting projects and murals in places such as Morocco, San Francisco, and Berlin. His work combines elements of figuration and abstraction, using simplified forms and intense color palettes.

The artwork is shipped rolled in a tube and requires stretching on a wooden frame before display.
