"Ptasiek" is a small and heartwarming glass bird, created to bring softness, light, and a quiet smile into everyday spaces. Delicate yet expressive, this charming little sculpture combines transparent and opal glass in gentle pastel tones that beautifully catch the light and add a subtle glow to the home.
Handcrafted using the glass fusing technique by the Polish artist Maciej Habrat, each Ptesiek is formed through a spontaneous artistic process where layers of transparent and opal glass melt together into unique and unrepeatable shapes. No two pieces are ever exactly alike — every bird carries its own tiny personality and mood.

Maciej Habrat Atelier was founded in 1997 in Krosno, Poland. All glass works are designed and hand-made in a fusing technique by him. Maciej graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland-the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. His style is easily recognized in many galleries around the world and some glass objects were exhibited in the Corning Museum of Glass, USA.
TV ARTE has released a documentarty about the family company and every year during the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt Maciej's masterpieces allure with colors and forms.
