Opis od sprzedawcy
Volpaia Chianti Classico Riserva 2018 3 Litri
DESCRIPTION:
Producer: Volpaia
Wine: Chianti Classico Riserva
Vintage: 2018
Number of Bottles: 1
Size: 3,00 l
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Aging: 24 months in French and Slovenian oak barrels.
Alc.: 14,5%
The Riserva is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes from vineyards located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level. One of the highest wineries in the region. Here, where the air is thin and the nights are cool, the Sangiovese develops the elegance and minerality that make Volpaia so special. Sandstone, clay, and sandy-loam soils with a high percentage of gravel. Manual harvest in the second half of September, temperature-controlled vinification, and then 24 months in French and Slovenian oak barrels.
Ruby red with light garnet highlights. The bouquet is elegant and intense: clear notes of cherry and berries, accompanied by notes of crushed lime, blue flowers, and a hint of wild herbs and blackberry bushes.
