● About the Artwork
"A face interrupted by absence becomes the foundation for unexpected growth. Two white calla lilies emerge from the void, replacing identity with transformation and turning fragmentation into a source of renewal. The composition combines geometric colour planes, organic forms and subtle textures to create a delicate balance between control and spontaneity. Rather than depicting a person, the artwork presents a psychological landscape where beauty arises from incompleteness. Through its surreal visual language, the piece explores the relationship between vulnerability, perception and growth."
The artwork has been created through a contemporary digital collage process combining photography, multi-layered visual assemblage and advanced digital composition. Using photomontage techniques, image manipulation and compositional construction.

● About the Artist
Nando López (Barcelona) is the founder of Dikhotomy (DKT), an artistic project dedicated to exploring how images change their meaning when they are relocated into new cultural contexts.
His work establishes connections between historical iconography, popular culture, everyday objects, and visual memory, creating artworks that move between irony, visual appropriation, and contemporary reinterpretation.
Through limited edition prints, paintings, assemblages, and object-based installations, he develops a visual universe where the familiar appears altered, generating new perspectives on consumption, desire, identity, and pop culture.
His work has been exhibited internationally and is also represented through various concept stores in Spain, France, Belgium, and Norway. Among his notable achievements are a solo exhibition at Gamla Kraftstationen Gallery (Sweden) and the publication of his artwork “I Am Jesus” as the cover image of Newsweek Polska in May 2024.
