πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile artist and facilitator of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions derived from his painting work shown in the gallery at the moment. This series takes up the icons of Pop Art and contemporary Street Art reworked with the artist's own codes. Discover first these editions before you can bid on the real paintings painted in acrylic that will go on sale mid-July. Do not hesitate to also view the artist's sculpted works (Les Robbit). A series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, animated by electronic motifs from Herbie Hancock — especially Rockit (1983), from which his name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection is available in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity and playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to captivate gazes and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
