Terrestrial table globe - 1940-1950

Na aukcję wystawiony jest bardzo piękny i niezwykle rzadki świecący szklany globus SVH o średnicy 20 cm, pochodzący z późnych lat 40. XX wieku, wczesnych lat 50.

The publishing company SVH, or Esveha, existed in The Hague from 1876-1974 and was owned by a Jewish family. During the war the company was seized by the Nazi's and the complete inventory and machinery of the company was shipped to Germany. These fairly early illuminated glass SVH globes are becoming quite rare, especially the excellent state this one is.
