The Barolo from Cantina Moscone is a prestigious, traditional red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, cultivated with care and dedication in vineyards within the renowned Bussia Cru in Monforte d’Alba. It is aged for 24 months in large 50-hectolitre oak casks, followed by a period of at least 12 months in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. Visually, it stands out for its beautiful garnet-red hue, which takes on orange tones as it ages. On the nose, it offers an intense, enveloping bouquet dominated by fruity notes of red fruit preserves, plum, and currant, accompanied by floral hints of dried rose and violet. More complex nuances of spice, licorice, and forest floor also emerge. On the palate, it is vigorous and structured, featuring well-integrated, silky tannins. The alcohol content is beautifully balanced by a pleasant freshness. The taste is full-bodied and persistent, striking a perfect harmony between power and elegance. It possesses excellent aging potential.
