■ Overview

This is a beautiful, fully functional CANON EX AUTO (Serial: 146341), originally released in 1972, equipped with the EX 50mm 1:1.8 lens.

It is extremely rare to find this over 50-year-old model with a fully working light meter. Furthermore, since the original MR-9 mercury battery is discontinued, we are including a highly sought-after Voltage Converter Battery Adapter! This special adapter reduces the voltage of a standard LR44 battery to the correct 1.35V, allowing the light meter to work accurately. You don't need to hunt for expensive alternative batteries—it is completely ready to shoot!

This camera also has two unique features:

Front-Group Interchangeable Lens System: You only unscrew and change the "front half" of the lens. A very rare mechanical design!

QL (Quick Loading) System: Makes film loading incredibly easy and fail-proof.

■ Condition

・Appearance: Very Good Vintage Condition.

There are some minor scratches due to its age, but there are no major scratches or fatal dents. It is in very beautiful condition considering it is over 50 years old.

・Optics: EXCELLENT.

Lens: No fungus, no haze. Very clean and clear.
Viewfinder: Extremely clean. There is only one tiny speck of dust on the upper left of the center circle, which absolutely does not affect visibility or focusing.

・Functional: Fully Working Order!

Shutter: Fires perfectly. The shutter speeds change accurately at all settings.
Light Meter: Works perfectly! There is no battery leakage. Please check the detailed photos showing the clean battery chamber and the included Voltage Converter Adapter (assembled and disassembled).
Self-timer: Works perfectly.
Light Seals: Aged naturally, but not crumbling into powder. The film chamber is very clean.
