“Touch of Gold” by Michał Lenartowicz is an expressive abstract painting in which gesture, contrast, and painterly material create a strong, almost dramatic visual tension.
The composition is built on a cool range of grays, blues, and graphite tones, dynamically cut through by intense golden-yellow accents. Gold does not function as decoration here; it appears like energy in motion—a burst of light or an impulse slicing through the heavy, dense structure of the background. Its sharp, irregular forms contrast with the more diffused areas of the painting, intensifying the sense of force and movement.
Powerful diagonal brush and palette-knife strokes give the work a dynamic, almost swirling character. Lines and patches seem to collide, creating tension between order and chaos. The surface is clearly multi-layered, suggesting a process of continuous revision—applying, scraping back, and revealing successive layers of paint.

For us, painting is an expression of ourselves. We have been painting for over 25 years. We mainly deal with modern and abstract painting. For years, we have had great fondness for the color of gold and we use it most often in our paintings. In addition to golden paintings, you can also admire our multicolored abstractions, they add a lot of positive energy to a modern interior. To date, we have sold over 1800 paintings on Catawiki to collectors throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. For which we would like to thank everyone :)
