Mad Bear Gothic – Limited Edition of 49 – ArtBrut by Ann

I present “Mad Bear Gothic”, an original sculpture created by me entirely from scratch in my own studio in Poland. The work is a striking example of Gothic Pop Art, combining handcrafted sculptural form with a dark, expressive, yet luxurious aesthetic.

The resin sculpture was formed, prepared, decorated, and finished by hand in my studio. Its surface features an original, intricate graphic collage composed of skulls, skeletons, snakes, sacred-heart imagery, and fashion-inspired elements.

The visual composition is rich, dynamic, and multi-layered. Dark Gothic symbolism is contrasted with vivid Pop Art colours and contemporary graphic details. Skeleton figures wearing hats, decorative typography, and symbolic motifs give the sculpture a distinctive character and create a balance between darkness, irony, and modern luxury.

The depth of colour and glass-like finish were achieved through the careful hand application of several layers of crystal-clear varnish. The glossy protective coating enhances the graphic details, reflects light beautifully, and protects the decorated surface.

Because every sculpture is created and finished by hand, slight differences in the arrangement of the graphics and final surface may occur. These individual characteristics make each piece unique.

“Mad Bear Gothic” belongs to a strictly limited edition of only 49 pieces worldwide. Each sculpture is supplied with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, hand-signed by the artist.
