Concept and Composition
"Young Bull" is an explosion of humor and street style. The main character is a grumpy, furious bull wearing a classic zip-up tracksuit top. Comic-style steam blows from his nostrils, and a golden crown sits proudly on his head. An extraordinary compositional trick here is that the bull's horns and crown extend beyond the upper edge of the frame, breaking the traditional boundaries of the picture and amplifying the illusion that the character is about to jump out of the background.

Technique and Execution (3D)
The piece is a fully handcrafted, 3D sculptural installation housed in a solid black frame. The main elements of the composition were meticulously cut from thick MDF. To achieve a spectacular effect of depth and three-dimensionality, the individual layers are mounted on a special, hidden styrofoam backing and placed against an intense yellow-orange background.

Thanks to this multi-layered arrangement, the artwork casts natural, dynamic shadows. This spectacular chiaroscuro effect means that the perception of the piece changes depending on the time of day and the angle of the lighting in the room. The entire process—from the initial sketch and conceptualization, through precise cutting, to the meticulous hand-painting of the details—was executed entirely by Patrycja Mroczkowska.
