A striking diptych of two original lithographs by Claude Weisbuch, one of the most distinctive figures of 20th-century French printmaking, renowned for his expressive line, elongated silhouettes and dynamic studies of musicians.
The two complementary compositions depict a violinist absorbed in performance, rendered with Weisbuch’s characteristic nervous, fluid line. Together, the works create a powerful sense of movement, concentration and theatrical presence.
Both are original lithographs, individually signed in pencil by the artist and numbered from the same limited edition of 150 impressions:
