The Super-Multi-Coated Macro-Takumar 50mm f/4 is one of the most respected macro primes from Asahi Pentax's legendary Takumar lineup, long admired by collectors and film shooters for its exceptional sharpness. Even without accessories, it reaches an impressive 1:2 reproduction ratio, extendable to true 1:1 macro with the optional auto extension tube — a rare combination of close-focus versatility and classic Takumar rendering. Its compact, all-metal M42 screw-mount body makes it an easy and characterful addition to any vintage SLR kit.
