All photographs are taken without filters. Please note that screen settings may subtly affect the perception of colours.
Lighting conditions can also influence how the colours of the paintings are perceived. In daylight, the lighter painting may appear slightly warmer and creamier, while under more intense artificial lighting, it appears much closer to a pure titanium white. Similarly, the brown painting appears lighter in daylight, while under more intense artificial lighting, it may appear noticeably deeper and darker.
Please take a moment to view all photographs included in the auction gallery, as they show how different lighting conditions can affect the appearance and perception of the colours.
Marena is a contemporary visual artist from Poland whose work explores the emotional and physical dynamics of color, movement and organic structure. Large-scale paintings are created through layered processes that balance control with spontaneity, allowing pigment, texture and flow to interact in unpredictable ways. This interplay results in immersive, pulsating compositions that feel alive and atmospheric.
The practice is rooted in observing natural forces, the energy of motion and the emotional states that can be carried within the material itself. Each canvas is approached as an environment — dynamic, shifting between tension and harmony. The works often evoke depth, luminosity and a sense of organic rhythm.
Marena’s paintings are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. The artist collaborates with galleries and auction platforms internationally, continuing to develop a studio practice in Poland and focusing on creating works that invite contemplation, stillness and sensory engagement.
