The watch belongs to the Classima line – Baume & Mercier’s most classic, dress-watch collection.

The 42 mm Classima Special Edition is powered by a hand-wound movement, partially revealed through a skeletonized dial, with a small seconds sub-dial. The blue, translucent sapphire dial, combined with a black minute track, provides a view of the movement while maintaining excellent legibility. The movement used in this Classima is the BM 164498 calibre, which is essentially a rebranded hand-wound ETA 6498-1 UNITAS movement.

The watch is complemented by a blue Holland & Sherry fabric strap, combining classic elegance with a more contemporary character.

Holland & Sherry is a British supplier of luxury fabrics with a long history dating back to 1836. The company specializes in high-quality materials – primarily wool, cashmere and silk – used in bespoke tailoring, including on London’s Savile Row, as well as in exclusive interiors.

An additional black Baume & Mercier strap with a stainless-steel buckle is also included.
