A Pair of Puffins – Handmade Fused Glass Sculptures by Maciej Habrat
A charming pair of handcrafted glass puffins, created by Polish artist Maciej Habrat, combining tenderness, character and contemporary elegance.
Individually made using the glass fusing technique, each sculpture combines luminous opal glass with genuine 24-carat gold fused into the composition. Their simple, expressive forms and delicate reflections make them especially beautiful when placed in natural light.

Maciej Habrat Atelier was founded in 1997 in Krosno, Poland. All glass works are designed and hand-made in a fusing technique by him. Maciej graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland-the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. His style is easily recognized in many galleries around the world and some glass objects were exhibited in the Corning Museum of Glass, USA.
TV ARTE has released a documentarty about the family company and every year during the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt Maciej's masterpieces allure with colors and forms.
