Introduced in 1961, the Canon 7 is a 35mm interchangeable-lens rangefinder camera from Canon’s later rangefinder era. Its manually selectable viewfinder frames accommodate focal lengths from 35mm to 135mm, making it a versatile body for a classic lens collection. The threaded lens mount and direct manual controls offer the engaging, deliberate experience of traditional rangefinder photography. This camera has been professionally repainted to faithfully recreate the appearance of the rare factory black-paint Canon 7. It has been serviced in Japan by a restorer who also receives maintenance requests from camera shops in Japan.
