Royal Lochnagar is one of only a handful of Scottish distilleries granted the “Royal” prefix, following Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s visit from nearby Balmoral in 1848 — a story told on the label in John Begg’s own words.

Condition:

Complete with wooden presentation box and numbered certificate. Labels and capsule intact. Fill level is slightly below the neck, as is common for bottles of this age. Box shows light handling marks.
A classic, well-regarded sherried Highland malt in attractive vintage presentation.
