Ballantine’s 12 Years Old – Very Old Scotch Whisky – 2 Litres – 43% – 1970s
Vintage bottle of Ballantine’s 12 Years Old Very Old Scotch Whisky, produced by George Ballantine & Son Limited, Dumbarton, Scotland.
Rare large-format 2 litre / 200 cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV, featuring the characteristic moulded glass handle and original built-in pourer.
The bottle was imported into Italy by Spirit S.p.A., Genova and still retains its original Italian tax seal over the closure.
The bottle remains unopened and the fill level is very good considering its age. The original screw cap, neck label and fiscal seal are still present. The paper seal and labels show normal signs of ageing and storage, as clearly visible in the photographs.
The front label carries the historic Ballantine’s Royal Warrant inscription:
“By Appointment to the late Queen Victoria – King Edward VII.”
