Opis od sprzedawcy
Across a field of burning orange, horizontal bands of crimson, ochre and violet accumulate like sediment, weather, or a horizon repeatedly revised. The artist refuses a fixed landscape: scraped, translucent layers hold motion and delay at once. Dense dark strokes interrupt the glow, making the surface feel less like a view than a record of light passing through time.
I wanted to remain inside the unstable moment when warmth can become pressure and light can carry weight. Painting lets me stay with what cannot be resolved into an image or a statement: the slow movement of attention, memory, and feeling. I build and disturb the surface until it holds both intensity and rest, a place where I can sense change without needing to name it.
___
I am interested in how a form can remain isolated and still alter what surrounds it. I do not seek to make these marks describe a path or have their relationships resolve into a recognizable figure. I work with the possibility that a surface can retain traces of passage, boundaries, and presences that never fully reveal themselves. Sometimes, a minimal distance between two elements is enough to change the meaning of the entire territory.
**Condition and Shipping**
The artwork is in excellent condition, with no damage or restoration.
It is shipped unframed and unstretched, carefully rolled inside a protective tube to ensure safe delivery.
**About the Artist**
Maurizio Valch is a visual artist, writer, and graphic designer. His work explores metaphysical territories, symbolic landscapes, and the relationship between geological space and human consciousness.
Through dark fields, incised surfaces, monolithic forms, and structural divisions, Valch creates paintings that suggest the emergence of perception within the territory itself.
