Vintage Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Fountain Pen – W.-Germany
Vintage Montblanc Meisterstück No. 149 fountain pen, manufactured in West Germany before German reunification. This is a desirable older example of Montblanc’s flagship oversized fountain pen and bears the distinctive “W.-GERMANY” engraving on the trim.
The pen features the classic deep black resin body with gold-tone trim and an ornate Montblanc 585 / 14K gold nib. The cap is marked “MEISTERSTÜCK No. 149.” Piston-filling mechanism.
Condition: Vintage/pre-owned condition with visible signs of age and use. There are surface scratches, small marks and areas of wear to the resin and gold-tone trim, all clearly visible in the photographs. The nib also shows normal age-related patina/wear. No attempt has been made to over-polish or cosmetically restore the pen.
Origin: Germany / West Germany.
