Stunning "fazzoletto" (handkerchief) vase, hand-blown and shaped freehand in a furnace on the island of Murano, following the oldest traditional Venetian techniques. The piece stands out for its iconic ruffled shape, modeled while the glass was red-hot.
The crystal-clear glass body features a rich submerged decoration consisting of blue and light blue glass grit, sparkling silver metallic inclusions, and authentic millefiori murrine embedded during the heating process. The murrine patterns are visible on both the body and the bottom of the vase.
• Condition: Excellent, like new. Free of chips, cracks, scratches, or restorations.
