Large silver serving platter made by W. Schwechten in Berlin at the end of the 19th century.

The platter is made of solid 800 silver and weighs 1,551 grams. It measures 49.5 × 35 cm and has an elongated oval shape with a scalloped rim decorated with acanthus leaves and a braided pattern.

One side is engraved with the Pomian coat of arms, traditionally used by several Polish noble families.

The underside bears the German crescent and crown hallmarks, the 800 silver mark, the maker's mark and a later Polish verification mark.

The platter is in very good antique condition, with some natural signs of age and use.

It comes from Bednarek family collection and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
