Taca - Srebro pr. 800

Large oval serving tray made of 800 silver, weighing 1,180 grams.

The tray has a finely patterned, guilloché surface with an engraved monogram in a decorative cartouche at the centre. The raised rim is finished with an ornamental border, while the two openwork handles feature scrolls and floral motifs.

The underside is stamped 800M. The maker has not been identified.

The tray is in very good antique condition. The decorative upper surface is well preserved, with only minor scratches from normal use. More noticeable signs of age and use are present on the underside.

A fine example of antique silver tableware, retaining its original decorative details.
