Opis od sprzedawcy
Yoshi Takahashi (Tokio 1943 – Bad Reichenhall 1998).
"Mutter mit Tochter" [Mother with Daughter], 1996.
Original color etching.
Paper: Zerkall handmade heavyweight paper. 48 x 56 cm.
Graphik International, 1996.
Edition of 95 copies, numbered and signed by hand.
Yoshi Takahashi’s artistic style is distinguished by a poetic fusion of traditional Japanese minimalism and calligraphy with the abstract movements of the European avant-garde (particularly Abstract Expressionism and Lyrical Surrealism). Jego twórczość wywołuje jednoznacznie wizualny wszechświat zachodnich mistrzów, takich jak Paul Klee i Joan Miró. Wykorzystuje warstwowanie płyt drukarskich, aby uzyskać wyraźny i bogaty zakres tonów wtórnych, głębi i gradacji światła. Wspaniałe.
