Oliver Franneck

The German sculptor Oliver Franneck (born 1967) transforms industrial-looking metal into sculptures full of movement, sensuality and grace. After training as a metalworker and studying media design in Munich, he developed a distinctive visual language in which technical precision and emotional expressiveness merge. His work is characterised in particular by his fragmented female nudes – through their incomplete forms, they open up a space in which the viewer can unfold their own stories and feelings. Franneck’s sculptures have gained international recognition and are now featured in numerous private collections. The artist works independently of galleries in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
