This is a 65 years old very nice vintage Longines wristwatch, dated 1952 (serial number 8440551), with a very large case, for the time really large, being the diameter of the case 37.8mm excluding the crown, while most of the man's wristwatches diameter was between 32 and 35mm.
very nice gold plated case, with steel back, original old Longines lizard strap 19mm at the lugs, 23cm total length.
Excellent working order, recently completely overhauled by a very expert watchmaker, it keeps time very well, a nice "big" watch still perfectly usable.
An interesting collector's or user's piece, in a nice shape, with both the case and the movement in excellent condition overall.
