Beautiful elegant vintage Nivada Compensamatic men's watch from around 1965 The high-quality Swiss made AS 1802 timepiece has just been serviced and therefore runs on time. The addition "compensamatic" means that the balance is made up of 2 metals, making it virtually insensitive to temperature changes. The steel gold-plated case is still in very good condition considering its age. Heavily gold-plated (20 micron). The diameter of the case is 33 mm, the height including glass is 11 mm. The screw-down caseback is made of stainless steel. The silver-grey dial is still in good condition, with a beautiful sunburst. Beautiful gold-coloured Arabic numerals and hands. The crown is no original but matches the zeitgeist. The glass is polished and like new again. New dark brown leather strap, with a strap attachment of 18 mm and a total length of 23 cm (including case). Beautiful item of jewellery and a good watch, an asset to your wrist or collection.
