Etruscan 编织手镯 | 欧洲铁器时代

Bangle with a braided structure made of several strands, common in Italian culture during the early Iron Age. Material: bronze Date: 8th–5th century BC Dimensions: outer diameter 7.7 cm, inner diameter 6.8 cm, weight 16.2 g Condition: very good Bangle made of several carefully twisted bronze wires, the strands of which are joined together to form a uniform, braided structure. The bangle closes in an area with tightly fitting, spirally wound wire coils that stabilise the end junction. The surface has a greenish-brown patina throughout, which is characteristic of early Iron Age archaeological finds. There are few signs of wear and tear, which do not affect the structure. Braided bracelets were widespread in the Italian cultural area during the early Iron Age. They are particularly common in Etruscan grave finds, but are also well documented in neighbouring regions of central Italy. The pieces were part of traditional costume and were used in everyday life as well as in ritual or funerary contexts. Their elaborate manufacturing technique – the uniform twisting of individual wires into a stable hoop structure – points to specialised metalworkers and a sophisticated jewellery culture within Etruscan-Italian societies. Provenance: From the private collection of K. H. S. from Bavaria, acquired before 1990. Acquired on the German art market. Please notice: Due to the German Cultural Property Protection Act, an export licence is required for this item for shipment within the EU or to a third country. There is a one-time application fee of €25, which must be paid separately by the buyer. This fee covers the entire application, regardless of how many items are included. We will submit the necessary documents and handle the application process free of charge. The processing time is approximately 7–10 working days. Authenticity: As with all our objects, authenticity is guaranteed without time limitation. Each object is delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity. Protection of cultural property: All artefacts offered by us come from private old collections or were acquired at art auctions.
