A fine Ancient Roman bronze antoninianus of Emperor Gallienus (ruler of the Gallic Empire from AD 253 to 268) during his sole reign. The coin's obverse presents the radiate head of Gallienus facing right, with the legend GALLIENVS AVG. The reverse features Sol walking left, holding whip and raised right hand.
