integrity.
Culture: Roman
Date: c. 1st–2nd Century AD
Material: Bronze (copper alloy)
Quantity: 3 brooches
Condition: Incomplete; stable with age-related wear and patination
Provenance & Documentation:
All three brooches are officially recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme (UK),
having been discovered in North Yorkshire by metal detecting and documented by qualified
Finds Liaison Officers. Each item is accompanied by its PAS reference number and detailed
report, confirming identification, dating, and authenticity.
A desirable and well-provenanced group of Roman brooches, suitable for collectors, study
collections, or those seeking responsibly documented ancient artefacts with secure
archaeological records.
