Decorated with owl heads and underglaze painted in green and dark brown with magnese yellow background, the outside rim decorated in alternating green and brown and oval patterns.
Size: 14.8 cm D - 5 13/16 inches
Material: Glazed Terracotta
Culture: Byzantine, c. 11th -12th Century A.D.
Condition: Repaired with no pieces missing
Provenance: Ex Mr. A. Sultani collection, acquired in the Middle East in the 1970’s.
The seller guarantees that this item has been legally acquired & will be legally exported, related documents seen by Catawiki.
This item do not need an export licence within the EU.
The seller will inform the buyer if it needs a UK export licence outside the EU
Worldwide shipping by Registered Mail.
Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity
