It holds the traditional agricultural tools—the hoe and the pick—symbolizing the manual labor the ushabti would perform for the deceased in the afterlife (the Field of Reeds). A seed sack is visible on the back. The head features a tripartite wig and a long osiride beard, signifying the deceased's transformation into a form of Osiris.
