Set of four PP203 “First Chair” dining chairs Designed by Hans J. Wegner for PP Møbler, Denmark, 1969. The PP203 First Chair combines the refined minimalism of Wegner’s pp701 with the solid construction inspired by the pp56 Chinese Chair. The geometrically defined frame is beautifully balanced by soft, organic curves, characteristic of Wegner’s designs from the late 1950s and 1960s. This set is crafted in ash wood with elegant wengé inlay and features original paper-cord seats. The craftsmanship is of exceptional quality, as expected from PP Møbler. The chairs are comfortable, well-proportioned and suitable for both modern and classic dining interiors. All chairs are in very good vintage condition, with light traces of use consistent with age.
